Solution

Kraftvaerk recommended that Suominen modernise its digital platform by implementing Optimizely DXP as the requirements included scalability, flexible templates and global reach.

A vital part of the process was to create a product catalogue that improves the presentation of the various products. Through filtering and tags designed Suominen can create personalized user flows, improve the user experience, and increase conversion rates.

The new website is developed on Optimizely DXP, and Kraftvaerk is supporting Suominen to utilize the modern features of the platform. At the same time, the entire solution is hosted in the cloud, reducing the need for internal operations and infrastructure.

Challenge

The company’s vision is to be the front runner for nonwoven innovation and sustainability. To support its business strategy, Suominen went through an ambitious rebranding process. The brand renewal gave an excellent starting point for the new website and collaboration between Kraftvaerk and Suominen.

The old website was not meeting the requirements of modern marketing and communications. It was technically unreliable and overly complex to maintain.

  1. 1
    Rapid establishment of new websites.
  2. 2
    Flexible further development.
  3. 3
    Multi-language content.
  4. 4
A more modern and scalable technical platform.

...great to see how it was implemented to the digital world...

at Suominen

Our collaboration with Kraftvaerk has been incredibly positive and active from the beginning. Our ambitions were set high during the brand renewal, and it was great to see how it was implemented to the digital world with Suominen.fi renewal. We have received positive feedback and look forward to continuing developing digital customer experience with Kraftvaerk.

Results

The expectations for the website design process were set high. The work started with defining the long-term ambition for the Suominen website. The needs of the website stakeholders and their user journeys were uncovered and defined. A vital part of the process was to create a product catalogue that improves the presentation of the various products. Through filtering and tags designed Suominen can create personalized user flows, improve the user experience, and increase conversion rates.

Flexible platform

The new platform is built very flexible. The scalable DXP meets the requirements of global and listed companies. New campaign sites have been built to support the business.

Cloud‑native
The solution is fully cloud‑based and can scale according to demand.

Agile delivery model

The project was carried out in a close partnership between Kraftvaerk and Suominen.

Instead of a traditional fixed‑scope delivery, the project was organised as a partnering agreement, where budget and timeline were fixed, while scope could be adjusted along the way.

This model made it possible to continuously adapt the solution to the changes that arose within the organisation.

It created a high degree of flexibility and made it possible to coordinate the work with Suominen's Marketing and Communications team members.
